Pay Rate: $2,200 To $ 2,500 per week
Contract: 13 Weeks

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join Down East Community Hospital. The RN will provide safe, high-quality perioperative patient care by performing scrub and circulating duties while supporting recovery room operations as needed. This role requires excellent teamwork, communication, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
ResponsibilitiesDeliver safe, effective, and patient-centered perioperative nursing care.
Perform scrub and circulating duties during surgical procedures.
Assist in the recovery room (PACU) as needed.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team.
Monitor patient safety and maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR .
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room RN experience required.
Scrub and Circulating experience required.
CNOR Certification preferred.
COVID-19 vaccination required.
